When making a gift of appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual funds held for more than 12 months:

Like a savings account, DAFs provide you with the opportunity to donate assets for charity today and receive a tax deduction now — while maintaining discretion about when the assets will be distributed to charity.

VEHICLE DONATION

The TCS Vehicle Donation Program (VDP) accepts donations of cars, vans, trucks, RVs, boats, tractors, heavy equipment, jet skis and more,
in almost any condition, within the 50 states. Furlanthropy uses the vendor, CARS.

You can deduct the full sale value of your vehicle. CARS sends donors an initial acknowledgement and tax receipt; if the vehicle sells for greater than $500 CARS will send a follow-up receipt letter for IRS purposes.
You don’t need to deliver your vehicle. Your vehicle will be picked up at a time that’s convenient for you. CARS representatives will schedule and pick up the vehicle at a time that’s convenient for the donor at no cost to them.
There is no cost to you. This is a tax-deductible way to dispose of unwanted vehicles.
Quickly remove your vehicle from your property & care. Pickup arrangements are usually made within one business day of the donor’s call, and the vehicle is typically picked up within two business days.
Receive your gift receipt within 30 days. On average the vehicle donation process takes less than 30 days from the time the donor contacts CARS until the sale of the vehicle.

TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY

Your gift of personal property could save you income taxes if you itemize. Examples: coins, jewelry, artwork, stamps, sports cards, etc.
If you were to sell this property, you would have to pay a special 28% tax on the difference between its current value and what you paid for it, rather than the 15% tax applied to sales of securities.
Red Cross can pay for the transportation of goods. Red Cross can pay for the appraisal.
You can make a sizeable donation without reducing your money accounts. It’s an easy way to give impactfully.
You can declutter unwanted wares from your home.
You will no longer be responsible for keeping it secure, preventing its deterioration, or paying to insure it against damage or loss.

CRYPTO CURRENCY

BitPay is the world’s largest provider of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment services. Currently, it supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) and 4 USD-pegged stablecoins (GUSD, USDC, PAX, and BUSD). You can use the BitPay wallet or any one of the more than 80 crypto wallets in existence today to make a donation to Furlanthropy. To encourage charitable giving, BitPay does not charge a processing fee.

Through the PayPal Giving Fund, PayPal customers can donate to Timberlake Christian School, and 100% of every donation made goes to TCS. PayPal provides year-round support, including being able to donate with your digital wallet with cash, credit card, or crypto currencies. You can set Furlanthropy as your favorite charity and give at checkout wherever you shop online when you check out with PayPal.
